There is a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

It has been running around my layout for the last 10 years waiting for me to get around to finishing it. All I need are some dybamic brake parts and louvers. The DB parts used to be made by Smokey Valley. They are OOB. Maybe I need to get John L to go to his hobby shop and see if they have them. I added the lift rings, coupler lift bars, air hoses, and number boards. Soon when the weather gets nice ...paint and decals.

Looking good, Ralph!
Glad to see you back at the workbench again. Your detailing on loco's and
rolling stock blows me away! :D :D :D :D

One of my facebook buddies David Stewart suggested I order new AAR truck sideframes and separate brake cylinders from Atlas as they look much better than the stock yellow box sideframes on this unit. He kindly provided the part numbers and with parts in hand I started weathering. Here is a comparison. The shiny copper pickups will be painted.
