Fish Cannery and first Diorama

Postby EricQuebec » Tue Jan 31, 2012 10:08 am

Hello Everyone,
During the last 2 month, i've work on new scratchbuilding project. This project was born last spring, when I've found on e-bay 4 draws of the MasterCreation " Muldoon's Distillery", so i've decide at this time to clone it, but after draw the plan, i wasn't satisfied of the final result, and... let it sleeping few month on the side of my workbench. This fall, after doing my "fanart" of fsm Butcherway I turned in circles wondering what I can do well. In short I was bored strongly, and by accident I fell on my old drawings. After a few sketches of correction, my new project was born.
The concept of this project can be resumed in a short story :
We are in "New Big city " somewhere between canadian martim states and New England, in the end of the pats century and begin of the 20th century, The Nolan Cannery is a succesfull business, living in perfect harmony with the small competitor around. But this era was ended brutally in 1907 with the arrival of the " Emporium Seafood Co." and its aggressive commercial practices directly inspired by Rockefeller. Today, at the dawn of the Great Depression, the company is dying for over a decade. And this project is the result of this long, slow agony.
I've make a thread of this project on a French forum.... more easy for me, so you can see more pics of this project here :

So, time to begin :
