I have a question about the John Allen Cleaning Car pads sold at Walthers for Athearn kits; can I assume that if they fit an Athearn kit, they would also fit the old 40-foot G&D boxcars? And; I would only assume that a considerable amount must be added to the car so that it would actually work....
